Art...
Here,I want to talk about music instrument.Music instrument can be divided to traditional and modern types.
I want to compare between sape and guitar. As we know, sape is a taditional music instrument while guitar is a modern music instrument.
Pronounced "sa-peh",is a traditional lute of the Orang Ulu community or upriver people of Central Borneo. It is traditionally used by the Kenyahs,Kayans and Kelabit tribes.
A hollow is made on the sape body and about a metre. The sape is a masterpiece of woodcarving. The body of the sape is curved and coloured with colourful jungle motifs because this change in purpose.
Sape had only two rattan strings and three frets.Sape is played during the ceremonies such as marriages, births and harvest times in rumah panjang.
The guitar is modern instrument typically has six strings but four, five, six also exits. Two main types of guitars are electric and guitar and acoustic guitar.Guitar is suitable played in jazz, pop, rock music and also for slow music.
The guitar usually means as to a set of closely related stringed while the electric guitar can have solid, semi hollow,or hollow bodies and produce little sound without amplication.
Acoustic guitars, string vibration is transmitted through the bridge and saddle to the body via sound board. The sound board is typically made of tone.Timbers are chosen for both strength and ability to transfer mechanical energy from the strings to the air within the guitar body. Sound is affected by the characteristics of the guitar body's resonant cavity.
In conclusion, both the modern and traditional music instruments have own specilities. So, we as the new generation must retain the art.

media choices
Assalammualaikum and hello to all of you!Thank you for your willing to read our blog again. This time,we will share with you the info about media. What means by media? This word is very general and familiar for us.Media means channels of communication that serve many diverse functions, such as offering a variety of entertainment, communicating news and information. There are many types of media such as mass media, for electronic media,it usually referred to as broadcast media,or radio and television, including cable.
Through the history, humans lived in a state of extreme information poverty.News traveled slowly, from field to field, village to village. All of this happened because there are a few people know how to read in that time.Today,by contrast,we live in a world where the technology are taking over the world. We can get whatever we want, wherever and whenever we want. This is because of the exist of internet.A lot of entertainment that we can get from watching television, radio, reading newspapers or magazines and so on are available in the internet.Because of the variety of media,so I make decision to talk about people’s choices of media.
My first question is,which forms of media are the most popular nowadays?I had conduct a survey about people’s choices of media. Most of the respondent choose internet as their sources to get many informations. So,why are the internet be the most favourite media chose by my respondent? One of the reasons are most of my respondents are students of UPM Kampus Bintulu. They have their own laptop to do their assignment. In the same time, they use the internet to get many informations also.Besides, people also can watch the television channel and hear the deejay of the radio talking in the internet. So,internet are the most popular media nowadays because we can get anything in it just with a click!
My second question is,some people say that DVDs and internet downloads of movies will mean the death of the cinema.Do you agree with that statement?I don't know what are your opinion about this statement, but I agree with this statement.DVDs and internet download of movies will mean the death of the cinema because people will watching movies maybe at their home together with their family by playing the DVDs or alone in their room by surfing in the internet. The manager cinema will bankrupt and close their business because of the decreasing number of people go to the cinema to watch movies. There is no reason to stay built the cinema because people nowadays will not see all of that. They will think twice whether to go to the cinema or downloads from DVDs or internet.
Last but not least, people also say that the internet will take over from television.Do you agree with that statement? What are your reasons?I think internet will take over from television because it is easy to get a lot of entertainment in the internet just with a click!Besides, when people surf the web, there are numerous things that can be found such as musics, hobbies, news and more.

discrimination
Discrimination can be defined as unfair treatment of one person or group, usually because of prejudice about race, ethnicity, age, religion, or gender.
The common discrimination that we heard and we see is discrimination against women.
For example, most peoples said women does not need to have higher education than men. This is because, women only responsible to family's priority such as after they had married, they only have to take care on their husband and children.
But what we can see in this modern life, this statement is not true.
what we can see nowadays, women is more successful than men.As we know, there are more girl students than boy student in universities.
But in the same time, the successful women does not ignore about their family.Their relationship with family still closer.
Other than that,in the previous era, girl is said to bring bad luck and give shame to thier family. So,the new born baby girl will be kill or buried alive.
Moreover, there is a discrimination against women who wear scarf. For example, there are overseas universities that prevent the muslim girl student to wear scarf if they want to further their study there.
But there are law that protect the women's right. For example,National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO),All Women's Action Society (AWAM) and so on.
All the law state that women should be give the same level with men.Women has a right to do what men do.
In conclusion,we must against discrimination.
communication
Communication is very important in one's everyday life.It helps us to transfer information, interchange information and sharing ideas, transmit thought or feeling,to join or connect something, and so on.
Beside that, communication is a 'two way' process. For example, when two people are communicate, one person will give an idea, while the second person will pay attention and then react and response to the first person's idea.
We communicate from the moment we wake up in the morning until we sleep at night. With just say 'hello' or 'hi' to someone,we had communicated. All the work we do need communication. For example,a doctor have to communicate with their patients, teachers with their students, employer to their employees, and so much more.
A good communication between peoples will make a good relationship and vise versa. So,we have to communicate with other peoples in a correct way so that others like and respect us.
